Adult Open Classes at Tacoma City Ballet

Tacoma City Ballet offers Adult Open Ballet Classes. Our Adult Open Class Program was designed to benefit dancers ranging from beginners who are just interested in adding some exercise to their routine to experienced dancers intent on improving their technique and interested in fitting an extra class or two into their weekly schedule.  Open Classes are a fun way for adults of all skill levels to learn more about dance and to become a part of the Tacoma City Ballet family.

All Open Classes are held at the Tacoma City Ballet School located in the Merlino Art Center, and taught by professional instructors. Dance attire is optional and many of our regular students opt for yoga pants or sweats rather than the tights and leotards required of our school dancers.  We recommend either ballet slippers or athletic socks be worn in class to provide the proper traction as you dance.

Adult Open Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays and last one hour per class.  Please arrive up to 15 minutes before class time to allow time to take care of payment and signing in.

Spring Schedule ~ March 29th-June 13

Tuesdays at 7:00 PM ~  Beginning Ballet
Thursdays at 6:00 PM ~ Beginning Ballet Level II
