2013 Summer Intensive

Summers are the perfect time to optimize classical ballet technique and improve the skills learned throughout the school year.  Because school and other activities are at a minimum, students have the opportunity for more concentrated study, leading to advancement.  Summer study is a must for the serious student of ballet in the intermediate to advanced levels.

This year Tacoma City Ballet is offering an 8-week summer intensive, with classes for dancers ages 3 and up.  The summer intensive runs Monday, July 8th through Friday, August 30th.  Dancers are encouraged to take classes all eight weeks, but we do offer a “by-the-week” option  for those families that have previous commitments or vacations scheduled during our summer intensive program.

Enrollment is open to returning Tacoma City Ballet students as well as new dancers to the school.  Many local ballet students find that the summer intensive is a wonderful opportunity to explore what TCB has to offer!

To register your dancer, please fill out the Enrollment Form and return to the Tacoma City Ballet Office at your earliest opportunity.  Tuition is due and payable before your dancer’s first lesson.  While you are able to pay tuition online, we do need a completed form for each student, even if they are a returning TCB dancer.
